Is the Deal Market active again with India? Are there any relevant regulatory changes to report? And, what does it mean for _Entrepreneurs and SME firms_? Shared Insight and Perspective, live from New York and Mumbai!

Our co-leaders of this moderated FIN SIG small group discussion will update participants on the sentiment and activity of US-India M&A. Our TiE Mumbai audience will be able to participate by sharing feedback and questions with our discussion co-leaders in New York and Mumbai. This is a new format, in cooperation between TiE Mumbai and the TiE Tri-State Finance SIG. The forum is intended to be small enough to have a substantive cross border discussion on recent developments in the market.

In the past 3 years the number of US-bound acquisitions by Indian companies increased dramatically and then slowed recently, with global downturn. Similarly the pace of US acquisitions of Indian companies and investments in Indian companies, slowed during the past 4 quarters. In the past month, the sentiment has *rapidly* improved.

Our small group discussion is intended to be an interactive forum to update our membership on what's happening in the US-India corridor: we'll cover recent transactions, legal and regulatory changes, as well as issues faced by US companies entering or operating in India through acquisition and vice-versa. Small group discussion leaders will consist of acquirer and acquire companies, lawyers from the US and India, and investment bankers who specialize in the US-India corridor.

Our New York seating is very limited and those not seated in New York will be allowed to participate by call in.
